Rigid polyurethane foams offer unrivalled technical advantages in the thermal insulation of refrigerators, other domestic polyurethane appliances and refrigerated transport. It is the most efficient commercially available insulator, thereby saving energy, and it saves weight and cost in materials used for construction by providing mechanical strength. As a result, modern refrigerators have more storage space whilst being smaller and lighter than their predecessors and provide superior performance. An important focus of our activities with our customers is the introduction of cost reduction programmes via improved processes and products and improving the insulation properties of the foam.
